Don't trust that travel agent!

I saw an article in the morning's news with this headline. Well..that's sure to upset a bunch of folks. After all, there are lots of travel agents out there (and many good ones I might add). Here's an excerpt:

"If you buy travel insurance direct from an insurer, or via an insurance broker or other registered intermediary (a "stand alone" policy), then you enjoy the full protection of FSA regulation. However, buy your policy from a travel agent or tour operator, and you get no such reassurance. Instead, you're forced to rely on the travel industry's own self-regulation, which is little better than no regulation at all!"

A quick tip...with the exception of the above offer by Frontier, normally to get the absolute best air fares, you have to search about a month in advance. And keep in mind that it's all about competition, demand, and inventory for the airlines. So if Northwest for example has just lowered airline tickets across the board by 20%, it won't be long before United and American do the same.
